Melissa leads policy, partnerships and public affairs at Cheshire & Warrington Combined Authority. Her work has focused on sustainable economic development, inclusive growth and the transition to cleaner energy, drawing on extensive experience across local and regional organisations, including local government, regional partnerships, higher education and the voluntary and community sector.
She has led the development of evidence-based strategies and major programmes across the region, working closely with elected members, senior leaders and organisations including councils, Combined Authorities, regional partners, national government, businesses, education providers and the voluntary and community sector. Her work focuses on shaping policy and building strong partnerships to help deliver improvements for people and places, aligned with national and regional priorities.
